Birmingham, AL Family Photography: Family of Four

First I’d like to wish all the mothers out there a wonderful mother’s day!

Speaking of moms, I had a wonderful time at Tannehill with this mom and her beautiful family.  The two little sisters were just adorable. Eva was only 11 weeks old and her big sister Chloe is two.  Hope you enjoy the photos!

Birmingham, AL Family Photography: Mr. & Mrs. H + Two

I had the pleasure of photographing another beautiful family at The Botanical Gardens last weekend. We got in several family shots as well as some individuals of the gorgeous Eden and a handsome little man named Brooks. Eden didn’t seem to mind playing model, but Brooks was all boy and found a greater interest in climbing trees=)

Birmingham, AL Family Photographer: Keeping Up with the Joneses

My homestate of Alabama was hit by a historically devastating tornado last Wednesday.  The mom in the photos below and I grew up in one of the cities hit hardest, Pleasant Grove.  I’ve been in total shock and have found myself completely consumed by the horrific stories, photos and videos.  But I think we all need to see some happy images, so I’ve decided to go ahead and post a small preview from our recent session.

I enjoyed a recent Saturday morning at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens with little Miss E and her mom and dad.  E was such a doll with her beautiful blonde curls and pretty green dress.  Definitely a beautiful family to photograph.  More photos from this session to be posted soon but for now please enjoy this sneak peak.

Children’s Photographer in Atlanta, Ga: 1 Year

Last week I had the privilege of photographing Kenzo for his 1st birthday portrait. This cute little guy was so laid back and easy going that we managed to get in several outfits. Can you say “outfits” for boys? Anyway, I’d say it was a fun and relaxed photo session. I’ll be heading back to Kenzo’s to photograph his birthday party in a couple weeks. Contact us to talk about birthday packages to include a portrait session and party photos. See more photos in the Gallery and on our facebook page.

I’m a little behind on my blogging, but better late than never. Just want to share a few photos from a session I had at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover with the cute and candid Claire and Carter. How’s that for some alliteration? =)

Six Month Baby Photos in Birmingham, AL

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful baby Molly to celebrate her six months of life. She was absolutely adorable and so much fun!
I must admit that I am very new to the whole design world of creating collages and storyboards, or really the whole design world of anything for that matter=) I did make a couple of attempts to create these boards just for fun to throw into the package. I couldn’t decide which one I preferred, so I’m posting both.

    Seriously, what a doll face!

I love the stethoscope shots because her mother is an R.N.!

  • SEASONAL & HOLIDAY THEMED PHOTOS AND CALENDARS!

SEASONAL & HOLIDAY THEMED PHOTOS AND CALENDARS!

This past Christmas I created a holiday themed calendar for my daughter’s grandparents.  It was a gift from both my little girl and her cousin, so the calendar featured both children.  It is such a fun and personal gift and I decided I would like to offer a calendar package to my clients for a limited time.  The package would include 12 different photos including Easter, birthday and Christmas (savvy folks will use this photo for Christmas cards too).   We would set up 3-4 sessions depending on how many people will be photographed and the age.  Very young children may not feel up to four separate looks in one day, so we would go with three looks per session at four sessions total. This deal can also be split amongst different families. And it’s not just for the kids; all ages are welcome!

(Not all images in above calendar are September Morn photos.  Just a glimpse of our personal calendar comprised of many random photos.)

    Sample Ideas
January: New Years or Winter Theme
February: Valentine’s Day or President’s Day
    March: St. Patrick’s Day
April: Easter, Spring, April Fools Day, April Showers, or even Income Taxes(for those with unusual senses of humor)
May: May Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Cinco de Mayo, May Flowers
June: Summertime Fun, Father’s Day, Flag Day
    July: Independence Day
August: School Days or Farewell Summer
    September: Autumn, Labor Day
    October: Halloween or Fall Leaves
November: Thanksgiving, Dia de los Muertos, Football (Iron Bowl)
    December: Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Wonderland

Birthday Months can substitute for above themes.

    Total Package:
    3 Sessions, 2 Custom Calendars, 12 edited 8×10 photos and 24 5×7 or 24 4×6 photos – $375
    4 Sessions, 2 Custom Calendars, 12 edited 8×10 photos and 24 5×7 or 24 4×6 photos – $450

Order now, as the first quarter will be over before you know it. If you feel like you’ve seen this too late in the year, still contact me and we can always creatively work something out!

*Prices are for up to three individuals. Please contact me for price quote for more than three.
**Each month/theme/pose will have 3+ edited proofs for you to choose from. If you like all three, we can do a collage for no extra charge.
***3 session pack can be split into three payments, each payment due one week before each shoot. Same for 4 sessions but with four payments.
****The 10% Facebook discount can be applied to the first payment, as it can be considered a “first session fee.”
