    Birmingham, AL Halloween Mini Session

Happy Halloween everyone! Here are a few photos from the Halloween Mini Sessions. These were all about FUN! The kids got into character, acted silly, laughed and left with goodie bags to start off their Trick-or-Treat season!

The day began with the cutest little witch ever!

Then the Pirate and the Ninja arrived!

We were then visited by Frankiestein and the Red Power Ranger!

Connor came as Connor=) I suppose he’s at the age where you stop dressing up for a few years. We got his mom to get in a shot as well!

And the little pumpkin ended the day.

Today’s feature is a little sample from last week’s session with this beautiful baby. She was wide awake during the shoot, but I caught a blink. She looks like a sleeping angel in the shot. So sweet!

    Check out this little ladybug=)

Atlanta, GA Children’s Photographer: Stella Welcomes Summer

I’ve finally gotten around to posting Stella’s summer pics.  Last month I was determined to get her in this dress in a flower field to do a “Pockets Full of Posies” shoot.  We ended up in this civil war battlefield which turned out perfectly.

While I’m at it, I’ll go ahead and include a couple of other fun little things we put together. Our very makeshift lemonade stand and an ant-ridden picnic=) As you can see, I am very inspired by the clothes she is wearing. This is something clients may consider. You let me know of a few different little outfits and I’ll then create a coordinating theme providing you with a more personal and styled session.

I’d like to mention that the adorable ant was added to the outfit by Koco & Co.  I think it was the perfect touch!  Thank you!!

    The afternoon rains went away
But the puddles, they chose to stay.
So little kids could go out and play
And splash around for the rest of the day.

Atlanta Party Photographer: Celebrating the 1st Birthday

Remember the handsome little Kenzo from the birthday session a couple weeks back?  Well, this weekend his family celebrated with his first party.  His mom asked me to come and take the photos.  I got a lot of great candid shots as well as some family and extended family portraits. They are such a great looking bunch aren’t they? Some even flew in from Japan so it was definitely a special day for the birthday boy.

This is a great idea because you want to be able to enjoy the party and the company and not have to be worried about taking pictures the whole time.  But on the same note, you definitely want the preserve such a momentous occasion so hiring a photographer can take care of this for you.  Please contact me for more details on party pics or a party and birthday portrait package.

By the way, I love this cake made by Kenzo’s mom! You think it’s a simple white cake, but once sliced, wow, there’s a rainbow inside! =)

Also, check out this awesome and ever so unique invite made by Love and Smiles.  Use a September Morn photo on your design and save 10% off your invitation price.  They are available for all of your party paper needs including custom invitations, thank you cards, birthday banners, cupcake toppers, etc….

B’ham, AL Child Photography: Tea with Princess BayLea

The following photos were taken just two days before the horrific tornado struck Pleasant Grove.  From what I’ve been told, the beautiful trees that served as our enchanted forest background are no longer.  Miss BayLea is the blue eyed beauty in the photos.  She and her family were just a few houses away from complete destruction.  Her mother has been working endlessly in the cleanup effort and I hope that these images will provide some sunshine for her and her family. They certainly deserve it.  I’m very thankful you guys are safe!!!

Last week I had the privilege of photographing Kenzo for his 1st birthday portrait. This cute little guy was so laid back and easy going that we managed to get in several outfits. Can you say “outfits” for boys? Anyway, I’d say it was a fun and relaxed photo session. I’ll be heading back to Kenzo’s to photograph his birthday party in a couple weeks. Contact us to talk about birthday packages to include a portrait session and party photos. See more photos in the Gallery and on our facebook page.
